Use Cursor for iOS Development

Why would I want to use Cursor for iOS dev? It’s lightweight, the AI chat assistance seems to be as good if not better than Xcode. Tons of extensions.

This turns out to be very simple.

Step 1: Install these dependencies

brew install xcode-build-server
brew install xcbeautify
brew install swiftformat

Step 2: Install the SweetPad extension in Cursor.

Now you can open the SweetPad side panel to run your app or hit F5.
